The Wonderland campsite is named after the magical landscape of Wonderland in the southwest corner of Acadia National Park. The Wonderland campsite is the second closest site to the parking area (about 150 feet) and takes 1-2 minutes to reach by foot, this is a large site, ideal for couples, groups and families seeking a spacious camping area in close proximity to the restroom.
The site has room for 1-3 tents, a campfire ring, hammock, and picnic table.
Nestled amongst lush evergreen trees and exposed granite landscape, you’ll feel as if you’re deep in the heart of Acadia National Park.
Once you’ve made camp, take a leisurely nature walk around the grounds to identify trees, plants, and animals; or take your kayak, bike, or hiking shoes down the road into Acadia National Park’s Schoodic Woods region. We’re so glad you’re here.
