It’s true. The day has finally arrived. We welcome you to Acadia East Campground!
It seems as though it was only yesterday when we were just beginning to plan this exciting endeavor. Sure, it’s been a lot of work, but with the amazing support of our friends, family, new neighbors, and state and local officials, the campground is no longer a dream.
Located at 574 US Route one in Gouldsboro, what was once raw wooded Downeast Acadia coastal land is now the home to Acadia East Campground. With four sites open to kick off the season, we’re looking at a completely booked opening weekend; and we could not be more excited.
From old friends that supported us from the beginning to new friends traveling from Michigan, Washington DC, and Massachusetts, we’re eager to help campers explore the lesser-known side of Acadia National Park and the Schoodic Peninsula.
Just a few short miles from the campground, guests will find quaint villages, charming shopping districts, more outdoor adventures then could ever be completed, And some of the best food and hidden eateries in all of New England. Take a few minutes when you first arrive at Acadia East campground to review our information board. Here you’ll find tips on where to eat, what to do, where to shop, and more to explore in the greater Schoodic and Acadia National Park region.
Adventure in every direction. We’re so glad you’re here. Book Your Acadia National Park Camping Stay Today! Check us out on Facebook!
